We are delighted to announce our certificate from the United Kingdom Literacy Association! With this, we are able to improve language, literacy, and communication across Southmoor Academy though our links to the latest research in reading and developments in literacy. As a member, we are able to get involved in the UKLA ‘Our Class Loves This Book’, the ‘Just Imagine ‘award and the UKLA Book Awards. There are opportunities for teachers to connect with member from other organisations, alongside offering the very latest in Reading for young adults. Look out for some of their recommendations in the Reading Suite.
