On Thursday morning last week, Year 8 took part in a live theatre-style performance by Theatre Space NE called ‘Josh Green’. This lively presentation gave students the opportunity to explore pedestrian safety, including on public transport, raising awareness of pedestrian dangers such as distractions (phones, music, and friends) and risk-taking behaviour, and explore consequences of risky and unsafe behaviour on and around roads. After the performance students had the opportunity to engage with the actors and explore the dangers of not paying attention when walking near main roads.
