We were delighted to welcome back to school Sergio from Red Sky Foundation where the charity were presented with a cheque for £630.98 which was raised on our non-uniform day before the Christmas holidays. He was presented with the cheque in front of our newly installed external defibrillator which can be used by the school and the wider community in the case of an emergency to help save lives. We are also delighted to announce that we have four other defibrillators which are located internally in various buildings around the school site. We are really proud to support the work of this amazing local charity who are raising money to improve the life of cardiac patients who are born with or develop heart conditions and provide life-saving defibrillators for local schools and public places. We now have a total of five defibrillators in school which are ready to be used in the case of an emergency. We will be continue to support the charity throughout the year, including more opportunities for students to be aware of how to use defibrillators and perform basic CPR.
