To mark Holocaust Memorial Day, which commemorates the liberation of Auschwitz, the school choir joined a special service held by the Sunderland Inter Faith Forum at Sunderland Minster. We also held special assemblies to examine why we observe this event and reflect on the lessons history can teach us.
