Going Beyond the Band

Sunderland Music Hub have organised and funded ‘Beyond the Band Pit’ which is a series of workshops around song writing, leading to a competition with the chance to perform on the Sunderland Empire stage. As part of this, Year 10 Music Students are completing the Arts Award and writing a musical theatre piece with the goal of winning the prize of studio time to write original songs with professionals.
