Considering NHS Careers
Last Wednesday morning, all Year 8 students took part in the annual ‘Careers in the NHS’ presentation delivered by educational theatre group Performance in Education. This enthusiastic, lively presentation introduced students to the range of pathways that are available in the NHS at post-16 and post-18, including A levels, Apprenticeships, BTEC qualifications and the new T Levels. It also provided an opportunity for students to explore a range of careers available in the NHS. One of the main messages is that it is never too early to think about possible career pathways and that students need to make appropriate choices at various points over the next few years and that those choices will have an impact on their possible final career.
