Following a workshop with local writer James Whitcham, Year 10 Btec Performing Arts students had an amazing learning experience when they visited Spark FM before half term.  Spark FM is a local radio station based at Sunderland University and students took part in the experience of how radio is performed and produced.

The students recorded and edited their own performances so they were ready for broadcast, before Jay, a presenter and producer on Spark FM interviewed our star performers for his arts programme ‘Arty Party’.  Watch this space for details of when their work and interview will be broadcast over the air waves.
