Pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 received their attendance badges for last term alongside the much coveted ‘Attitudes to Learning’ badges. Attendance is very closely linked to achievement and even just a few extra days off can mean all the difference between the best grades at the end of school. Likewise, having a positive attitude whilst in school is very important and conducive to making the most of the learning journeys our students undertake. Pupils who have good attendance and a good attitude to learning have the best chance to succeed in life and we like to recognise that by rewarding these crucial key values.
