In assemblies, Mr. Wood took pupils on a poignant journey of remembrance in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day which takes place annually on 27th January to mark the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz by the Allies. Students were clearly moved by the extent of the atrocities and suffering experienced.
