Imagine having the opportunity to be part of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance that takes the audience through a voyage of musical discovery through a world of classical masterpieces alongside well-known TV and film themes. Sounds like a dream, but one that came true for five of our GCSE musicians – John Brown, Adam Simm, Alex Mihylov, Tyler Hudson and Michal Dzurban. Our musicians spent months preparing for these special performances which featured a 25-piece orchestra.  Fifty Year 7 students were invited to attend as a reward for excellent behaviour and attendance and thoroughly embraced this cultural experience.
