Students Voyage to Iceland
Some of our students recently got to go on a trip of a lifetime in the frigid north. Our school trip to Iceland was a huge success! Anya Clayton (Year 10 ) gives us a firsthand account of this amazing opportunity for our students.
‘In Iceland, we had some amazing experiences! When we first arrived, we went bowling. During the days, we visited Skógafoss and Gullfoss waterfalls, a black sand beach, a Geyser, a glacier and we even got the chance to explore the geothermal hot springs which are a popular tourist attraction. Personally, it was the best part of the Iceland trip. We stayed in a hotel in Reykjavik, and we also visited the city’s cathedral which gets lit up at night. On our last night, we all had pizza, and some students were given awards for their effort on the trip. To sum it up, we have made loads of great memories.’
We hope everyone had a fantastic time, check out some of the gobsmaking photos from the trip below!
