Last Thursday, we welcomed PC Alan Postings, our local community police officer, to spend the day with us in school. Alan delivered various talks to our students in Years 7 to 10 about the important topics of online safety, knife crime, child sexual exploitation and drugs misuse.

These are all topics which are covered during Personal Development lessons, but it was very important for our students to hear the information directly from the Police, particularly regarding the consequences of getting involved in particular crimes. Alan was also out and about during break and lunchtimes, engaging with our students. It was a great opportunity for our students to see the Police who are protecting them in the local area. Thank you to Alan for spending the day in school.
