Tempest Live on Stage
On Monday 25th April Southmoor students experienced life as a professional actor for a day when they took part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival at Northern Stage, Newcastle.
This was a fantastic opportunity to work in a real theatre with professional lighting and sound designers. Thirty pupils spent the afternoon doing a technical and dress rehearsal, before treading the boards that evening in front of a huge audience. It was an amazing experience and everyone involved enjoyed it so much, they can’t wait to do it again next year.
