Southmoor Scholars
Dr Amy Pearson visited from Sunderland University and spoke to the scholars about her research specialism – Neurodiversity. Students learned about different variations in the human brain, and how these manifests themselves in different conditions, including Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia. They were then challenged to create an independent project to educate others about an aspect of Neurodiversity, and encouraged to be creative and use different media such as creating a podcast or making an art piece.
