We’d like to thank the amazing Ben Smith from The 401 Challenge for visiting Southmoor on his route through Sunderland on Tuesday. Ben is a truly inspiring character who is undertaking the massive feat of running 401 marathons in 401 days for the Kidscape and Stonewall charities. After delivering an incredibly positive assembly, Ben was joined by a selection of our pupils, along with Steve Cram and members of the Sunderland Strollers running club, for the final six miles of his Sunderland leg. Best of luck to Ben and his team, we’re behind you all the way!
