Before half term we ventured out of the classroom and took every single Year 7 student on their very first school trip as a year group for the day at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland. Our students enjoyed their trip north to the picturesque setting, exploring the 10th century building and its rich history, which is now fully open to the public, before braving the rugged Northumbrian weather at the nearby beach. Our students had a fantastic time, showing us impeccable behaviour and maturity, so much so that we are looking forward to their next day out with the school.
