Last Wednesday, we welcomed all Year 11 students and their parents/carers for the annual Year 11 Progression Evening. During the presentation, parents and students were given information about the year ahead with the key messages of good attendance, developing a growth mindset and making it stick as being vitally important. After the presentations, parents and students were able to speak to teachers in each subject area about the key areas to focus on for the year ahead. In addition, representatives from many of the local training providers, colleges and our own Sixth Form were present to give students and parents information about where students can move on to next year after their GCSEs.
