With Holocaust Memorial Day approaching Mr Wood and Year 13 students visited the Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps in Poland to take part in the ‘Lessons From Auschwitz’ project which involved attending seminars, investigating the impact on the Jewish community and hearing first hand experiences from survivors.
