Our Local MP Celebrates UK Parliament Week with Students
During UK Parliament Week we were delighted to welcome Julie Elliott MP (Sunderland Central) into school. Julie always comes into school every year to meet with our Student Council and other students who are interested in politics and law. Julie answered many questions from our Student Council on what it means to be an MP, what her favourite parts of the job are, how to become an MP, and her views on what needs to change in the local area. Thank you, Julie, for giving up your time to come and speak to our students.
