Orchestra at the Orchestra
Our school Orchestra Project students from Southmoor, Hill View, Barnes, Grangetown, Valley Road and Ryhope Primary attended the open rehearsal of the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Sunderland Empire Theatre. Students met two of the players and were able to ask them questions about the RPO. As part of the Houghton Area Youth Band, Heidi Roeves, Matthew Snaith and Erin Snaith performed in the foyer prior to the concert and then opened the second half of the show alongside the RPO.
