Odd Socks for Anti-Bullying
The theme of this year’s Anti-Bullying week is REACH OUT. The Student Council spoke in assemblies each morning this week about the importance of challenging bullying and that by reaching out is the only way to change it. The Council encouraged young people to speak up if you need to talk to someone about the problems of bullying or to show your support for those who are unfortunately victims of bullying.
In form activities, students had the opportunity to discuss the different types of bullying that might exist and the importance of reaching out when they need support. The week ended with students donning their odd socks celebrating our uniqueness as part of ‘Odd Socks Day’.
