We were delighted to once again welcome Sunderland Central MP Julie Elliott to the Academy this morning for a tea party to celebrate the UK Government’s Equaliteas event which celebrates the right to vote and democratic rights of UK citizens. The Student Council hosted Mrs Elliott and discussed the importance of equal rights, representation and politics as part of the event.
