Destination Kenya
Our Year 11, 12 & 13 Camps International Group are making the final fundraising push as part of the exciting Kenya summer trip of a lifetime to support rural communities in the developing country with initiatives including – helping to build a new school, constructing houses and ensuring young girls don’t suffer from period poverty. Our students have done some fabulous work alongside their lower school peers, raising the money for their trip by themselves through various sponsored activities such as bike rides, launching their own biscuit business, car washing and climbing the three Yorkshire Peaks.
You can read more about their fantastic efforts in this article by the Sunderland Echo.
If you’d like to support the final push for funds to help buy equipment to support the trip, we have set up a fund raising page should you wish to make a monatery donation.
You can also support by buying a ticket to our Easter Hamper raffle via ClassCharts, each £1 ticket will go directly towards the fundraising for the trip and you could also win a prize!
