Our subject careers weeks are continuing, with students learning about the skills transferable from the subjects they learn to the careers they could have. This time it is the turn of Performing Arts.

The Orchestra Project Curriculum has been specially designed to improve pupils’ ability to use transferable skills such as independence, self motivation, time management, problem solving, etc. With lessons from home teaching students how we can transfer the skills that we use in every lesson to learning something new, students have been tasked with learning a new skills, such as how to shuffle cards, how to make Hollandaise Sauce, how to draw an eye or how to do keepy-ups, as well as anything else that takes your fancy using the same method.

We had some great feedback, with students rising to the challenge to succeed in something new.
