Behind the Scenes with Beyond the Band Pit

Students got the chance to perform their own original musical compositions at the Sunderland Empire as part of the ‘Beyond the Band Pit Project’.  The project, run by The Empire in association with Sunderland Music Hub, involves our students working alongside local musician Marty Longstaff of ‘The Lake Poets’ to deliver their pieces inspired by the renowned production of ‘War Horse’.
