Anti Bullying Bags Top Prize
The Young Health Champions and Peer2Peer mentors have worked closely together since September 2017 to help to put a stop to bullying. The Young Health Champions have presented several ‘anti-bullying’ assemblies in local primary schools and the Peer2Peer mentors have voluntarily made themselves available to chat with their peers every week. The students were recognised for their efforts and have won the award for ‘Links with the Community’! Representatives from our Young Health Champions and Peer2Peer mentors attended the ‘Anti-Bullying Celebration Event’ for all primary and secondary schools in Sunderland. They made a small presentation to a selection of participating schools, Sunderland’s Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator and the Director of Education before being presented with their certificate by the Mayor of Sunderland. Well done to everyone involved!
