On the Trail of Bronze
Our Duke of Edinburgh pupils in Year 10 were out for adventure last weekend as they took part in our Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition. Having prepared themselves earlier in the year and gathered all the gear they would need, they set out to brave the outdoors to test skills such as map-reading, camping and cross-country navigation – all things they will need in the final expedition to clinch their bronze Awards later this term. The weather was exceptional for our explorers and everyone had a fantastic time getting out and about as well as learning skills and making life long memories.
