Year 8 Discover Durham
A group of Year 8 pupils visited Durham University last week, in a day focused around GCSE options and future choices. On arrival we were greeted by Duz the Dog, who gave high fives to all! We attended four taster sessions during the day, including: Geographies of Africa, a historical crime investigation, testing our brains in Psychology, and debating morality in Theology. Our students were also given lots of advice about how to choose their options next year, and how this will support their university and career aspirations.
