A charity called ‘Access Ed’ have recently developed ‘Research Based Curricula’ which are booklets designed by PhD tutors taking students through a topic of interest. The whole point of the booklets is they are made to be used independently by the student, rather than being taught by a teacher.

For this reason we’ve come up with a ‘Medieval History Challenge’ based on the KS4 booklet on ‘Archaeology as a Tool for Interpreting Medieval History‘. There are 6 activities within the booklet which we encourage students to work their way through and submit their work to Miss Ungley. The best submission will win a prize! To get started, click here.
